From the Rwenzori mountains of western Uganda — one of Africa's highest coffee-growing regions — this is a full, balanced cup with the natural sweetness that high altitude and a cooperative approach to farming produce. Bold without being harsh.

This coffee is grown by over 500 farming families who are members of the Busongora North Coffee Farmers' Cooperative, situated in the shadow of the Rwenzori mountain range at 1,500 to 2,000 metres above sea level. Each farmer is registered with a unique identification number, making every bag traceable back to the land it came from. The SL28 and SL14 varietals are harvested and processed through two primary wash stations before being dry-milled in Kasese — a cooperative chain where quality is controlled at every step. The medium-dark roast develops the inherent brown sugar and caramel character of these beans into something darker and more grounded. A cup that settles rather than jolts.

Roast: Medium-Dark · Process: Washed · Altitude: 1,500–2,000m · Region: Rwenzori Mountains, Uganda · Grind: Drip or French Press · Net Weight: 12oz (340g)
